Thomas Selected as Best-In-Class by the PCMA

Lebanon - The Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) held its 2009 Annual Meeting in January. Margie Thomas, IAF-CPF, CTC presented a breakout session on “Listen Up: Your Focus is Costing You”. She was selected to participate in their 2009 Best in Class speaker program based on her highly evaluated session. PCMA selects 10 speakers each year to participate in the highly regarded program for their chapters.

PCMA represents more than 6,000 meeting industry leaders including planner professionals (who are responsible for the development, organization, and management of meetings, conventions, exhibits, and seminars), suppliers (who provides products and services related to the conduct and operation of meetings, conventions, exhibits, and seminars), faculty and students.

Thomas was selected to speak at the PCMA’s 2009 Annual Meeting through a blind review process by the committee from approximately 250 session proposals submitted through the 2009 Call for Presentations. Her breakout session was attended by over 150 of the meeting’s attendees.
